In 2015, the following amendments were made to the Nominations Process:

Nomination Form

An additional question was added to the Nomination Form:

  • Describe the impact your nominee's work has had on the progress and/or practice of
    healthcare

If you are renewing a nomination previous to 2015, you will be required to answer this question in order for the nomination to be considered in the 2017 Prize cycle. Instructions for reviewing your nomination are below.

Confidential Letters of Support

Signed Letters of Support may now be emailed as pdf documents from the supporting parties to coordinator@drrogersprize.org. Please note that original copies of these letters may be requested at a later date and will be subject to reference check for authentication. As in the past, these letters may also be mailed directly to the Dr. Rogers Prize.

Letters of Support furnished for the 2015 Prize remain on file and do not require resubmission.

Previous Nominations

If you submitted a new nomination in 2015, it will automatically be renewed for the 2017 competition. We will be in touch to provide you with an access code to review your nomination. You may choose to submit new Letters of Support, or edit and update your original nomination. Changes must be finalized by the May 31, 2017 deadline.

If you renewed an earlier nomination for 2015, you may elect to have it resubmitted for the 2017 competition by notifying the Dr. Rogers Prize Coordinator. You will be able to access the nomination online to complete the additional section, submit new Letters of Support, and update your nomination. Changes must be finalized by the May 31, 2017 deadline.

If you are renewing a nomination previous to 2013 and did not take part in the 2015 competition, you may elect to have it resubmitted for the 2017 competition by notifying the Dr. Rogers Prize Coordinator. You will be able to access the nomination online to complete the additional section, submit new Letters of Support and update your nomination. You will also be required to complete the additional question added to the Nomination Form in 2015. Changes must be finalized by the May 31, 2017 deadline.

Please note: Nominations submitted prior to 2009 are no longer eligible. A new nomination should be submitted through the Dr. Rogers Prize website.
